The next healing whole foods cooking class is scheduled Sunday, Nov. 23, 2014 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.
Some of the featured foods on the menu will be: Turkey (vegetarian, made from scratch) with dressing, cranberry sauce with NO sugar, of course, millet “mashed potatoes”, a side vegetable dish and perhaps some truly homemade sugarless apple or pumpkin pie. It’s exciting and delicious!
The October cooking class was a great success. The lecture included valuable information about how to use the foods to heal certain conditions and how to use the foods to improve our bodies in individuals according to their own Oriental Medicine diagnoses. Foods presented were a burdock side side, brown rice with sweet brown rice and Job’s tears for weight loss and energy, tempeh “meat” dish, a mycopia dish of healing varieties, and others as shown in the photos.
